The Milwaukee Brewers’ rookie right-hander Jacob Misiorowski made history today by being named to the National League All-Star team, achieving the feat just five MLB appearances after his debut—breaking the previous record set by Paul Skenes. Since stepping onto a major-league mound on June 12, the 23-year-old has dazzled with a 4–1 record and a 2.81 ERA, including a dominant 12-strikeout performance over six innings against the Dodgers most recently. Teammates Freddy Peralta and Trevor Megill will join him in representing Milwaukee at the midsummer classic.
